This project is to replace the existing bridge built in 1937 over Macavis Bayou. The new bridge will consist of two-12 foot lanes with bicycle paths and sidewalks on both sides. The project will be reviewed for a potential south shifted alignment in the alternatives analysis report. We will also review the connection of Bayou Dr. to SR 10 which will be closed with a new connector road built between Bayou Drive and Milton Trail to reduce accidents. Additional design services include storm water pond design, bridge hydraulics report, bridge development report, and public involvement efforts.
