American was hired to prepare a joint permit application to the New York State, Department of Environmental Conservation and the Corps of Engineers to construct a public access path along the Outer Harbor from the Michigan Street Slip to the Terminal B. The permit is for the building of a revetment for shore stabilization and the removal and disposal of the current hard fill and the dredging of material from below the ordinary high water line. American must also obtain permission to dispose of dredge in the Contained Disposal Facility #4
