Oil and Gas Support Services

American provides a wide range of consulting services to public and private clients. We permit and design bridges, roadways, buildings, and large energy projects such as utility scale wind farms and major electrical transmission line permitting projects. We also provide support services to the oil and gas industry; understand the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) process; and have completed a numerous energy-related environmental impact statements for projects in New York.

American has professional geologists on staff with collectively over 50 years of experience; 15 years of that experience is oil and gas exploration and development experience with major and independent oil companies, including Appalachian Basin experience. We have completed oil and gas assessments for potential investors and landowners interested in evaluating their farms or tracts of land for the development of oil and gas reserves as well as siting and permitting approval projects for energy collection systems.

The significant opportunities that exist in the northeastern Appalachian Basin are related to the development of oil and gas resources, siting and construction of pipelines and development of support services such as stone quarries sand gas storage fields. American has a strong understanding of the regulatory environment that governs the development of those resources.
