Environmental Due Diligence and Site Development Support Services

Environmental risks can have significant impact on the viability and credit quality of your real estate property transactions. Our goal in completing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is to help you understand the risks completely in a clear and unambiguous manner. Our experts perform environmental site assessments that can identify potential environmental risks before you purchase or develop a property.

American can support site development through all stages of environmental review, and if necessary remediation, as well as zoning and permitting. Specifically, American can and has performed Phase I/II environmental site assessments as well as developed and overseen remedial action plans.

American can also assist with the planning associated with obtaining the approvals needed to construct including but not limited to zoning approvals, SEQRA reviews and permits from state and federal agencies.

For more complicated site development projects, including multiple parcel developments, American has developed a number of property acquisition and management applications using GIS and other database applications. These applications can be deployed over the internet to make them accessible at all times to the client.

Our staff includes geologists, engineers, planners, GIS experts, Environmental Scientists and former regulators from the NYSDEC and US Army Corps of Engineers.
